Autoimmune Disease is a chronic illness involving the immune system. In short - autoimmune diseases are when the immune system kicks in to overdrive and attacks healthy tissues, blood, vessels, cells and organs. Anytime a condition appears that is termed as an "immune response" it can be labeled as an Autoimmune Disease. There are a variety of Autoimmune Diseases, and most are incurable.

We created IWannaGetWell.com to help those who are battling with a chronic illness considered to be an Autoimmune Disease, whether you've been diagnosed, are on the road to being diagnosed, or just need information. The information is NOT meant to be specific medical advice, so we urge you to see your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Some of the diseases have a lot of information where others don't have much. There is still a lot of studies being done on Autoimmune and information changes constantly. New diseases are added, other diseases are updated and so on and so on. As I get new information I will update as I can since the goal of this site is to provide you with as much information and resources as possible.
